Franklin D. Roosevelt

A link to the right will take you to a speech given by Franklin Delano Roosevelt to the Society for Crippled Children delegates at their annual meeting in 1927. Roosevelt was, at this time, the Governor of New York, and he had recently purchased an old spa in Warm Springs, Georgia where he had recently gone for rehabilitiation after having had polio.
