What is Satellite Radio?

Sirius Satellite Radio broadcasts 120 channels of digital quality commercial-free music and talk programming to listeners in cars, trucks, homes, RVs, and boats throughout the continental United States via a subscription based service.

NPR has two channels on Sirius: NPR Now 134 and NPR Talk 135, featuring the best of NPR including Car Talk, Fresh Air, Talk of the Nation, Day to Day, and American Public Media's Marketplace, and A Prairie Home Companion. Using specially-designed satellite radio receivers, listeners can hear NPR programs while driving coast to coast.

An online NPR Stream created for Sirius subscribers is also available.
